Drum Star Studio is a full-blown recording studio tailored for teaching drum lessons.
It was created to offer an alternative for typical drum lessons.
Drum Star Studio has two professional drum kits side by side that are connected to a 32 channel recording studio. This unique set up records every word and every note so that you walk out with a CD in hand after every lesson and can practice exactly what you and the instructor go over throughout the week!
In between the two drum kits is a 6 foot projector screen that displays the written music needed for each lesson. This enables both the student and teacher to study looking straight ahead onto the same page and be locked in and engaged with the music! Having the music magnified and displayed right out in front makes it much easier to read and play!
Drum Star Studio has students from age 6 to 74 and welcomes drummers from every level who are anxious to play and learn. From beginners to pros, everybody can benefit from the resources that Drum Star Studio has to offer!
Each lesson will teach you how to read and write music, how to play a wide variety of musical styles, including Hip Hop, Country, Jazz, Metal, Latin and Pop/Rock, and how to create your own drum beats and drum fills while working with a metronome to get your meter razor sharp! This valuable studio experience will even teach you to read and write professional charts like those used in the industry's leading recording studios!
